Description
Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (W121) - 1961 - carmine red roadster, supplied with hardtop
The roadster bearing the star, imported from France, in its finest red livery, hardtop included.
There are cars that seek to impress, and others that command respect without raising their voice. The 190 SL belongs to the latter category. The civilised younger sister to the 300 SL, it bears the same signature, the star, but it drives without ceremony. This example, first owner French, subsequently passed into a private collection in French-speaking Switzerland, where it has been preserved as a heritage piece.
