L'Atelier des 1000 is delighted to present for sale this Subaru Impreza WRX STI 11 Nürburgring Edition, presented in an elegant pearl white finish.
Introduced in the late 2000s, the third-generation Impreza WRX STI continues Subaru's sporting tradition. A direct heir to the 2000 GT and models that competed in the World Rally Championship, it retains the ingredients that built the marque's reputation: permanent all-wheel drive, turbocharged boxer engine and road behaviour of remarkable efficiency.
The Nürburgring edition pays tribute to Subaru's performance on the famous German circuit, with a lap time of 7 min 55 s. Produced in limited numbers, it benefits from a specific presentation and dedicated equipment:
- Crystal White Pearl finish.
- 18-inch BBS alloy wheels.
- Recaro bucket seats.
A Swiss-registered vehicle, delivered new in 2012, its owner has always had it meticulously serviced at Subaru as evidenced by its stamped service book.
The 2. 5-litre turbocharged boxer engine starts easily, without noise or smoke. Its operation is smooth and it delivers fully the performance that built the reputation of Subaru STI models. The two known weaknesses of the flat-4, the timing belt and oil strainer, have been replaced with reinforced units.
A Forge dump valve and Invidia exhaust have been fitted, contributing to the rally atmosphere you feel on board.
A cooling panel and Perrin timing belt protection have been added.
The 6-speed manual gearbox engages and locks correctly, whilst the clutch shows no signs of wear.
The all-wheel-drive transmission and running gear deliver rigorous handling and perform exactly as you'd expect from an STI.
Braking is powerful and durable.
The bodywork is in good condition. The pearl paint has an excellent lustre.
The interior is in very good condition. The specific Recaro bucket seats offer superior support and the STI leather and Alcantara steering wheel looks superb; everything shows no signs of wear.
It features a Harman/ Kardon sound system coupled with a more recent Pioneer screen.
The BBS alloy wheels specific to this edition are in excellent condition, shod with new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres.
