Iconic 347cc two-stroke Yamaha, presented in white
Current keeper since March 2024 and offered from a deceased estate dispersal
Recorded as a Category C insurance loss in June 2009 and subsequently repaired and returned to the road
Few motorcycles epitomise the high-performance two-stroke era quite like Yamaha’s RD350 YPVS, its combination of light weight, lively performance and Yamaha’s Power Valve System earning the model an enduring enthusiast following.
Manufactured and first registered in 1986, this white example is recorded with engine number 31K053729 and chassis number 31K053729. The accompanying HPI report records 12 former keepers, with the current keeper acquiring the machine in March 2024.
Importantly, the HPI records a Category C insurance loss on 28th June 2009, described as having been extensively damaged but repairable, with the insurer deciding not to repair. The motorcycle subsequently returned to the road.
Now offered from a deceased estate dispersal, this RD350 represents an opportunity to acquire one of Yamaha’s most celebrated sporting two-strokes of the 1980s.
