The Lambretta Li series 3 was launched in 1962. It was a remarkable change from the previous Li series 2 with new sleek slim styling. The Li series 3 also had better performance than the previous engines and it had a very good reputation as a smooth and well-balanced scooter with great handling attributes. .
This example was recently completely restored and has had very little use since. The engine was blasted and top end upgraded with the proven Scootopia 186 kit and 12 volt conversion. The engine was extensively rebuilt with new bearings and seals. The gearbox is a standard Li150 box and it has a new crankshaft. The bodywork has brand new leg shields, side panels and floor runners. The carburettor is a new reliable PBRL. The wiring loom is brand new as are all cables. It sports front and rear crash bars and a 3 in 1 rear carrier and back rest rack. Seen running very well at time of consignment as can be seen on the below video.
