Autofolio Private Sales is proud to present this exceptional 2018 Ferrari 488 GTB 70th Anniversary, one of only 70 Tailor Made 488 GTBs and the only example in the world finished in livery no. 57, “The Wedding Gift”. UK-supplied in right-hand drive, it has covered just 2740 miles from new.
To celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2017, Ferrari commissioned its Tailor Made atelier to create 70 bespoke liveries, each paying tribute to a landmark car from the marque’s history. Each livery was applied only once to each of the five models in the range, so every one of the resulting 350 cars is unique to its model. “The Wedding Gift” takes its inspiration from the one-off 360 Barchetta of 2000, built for Ferrari’s then-president Luca di Montezemolo and presented to him on his wedding day. That car’s silver-over-ivory scheme is faithfully recreated here in Pure Metal Silver with an Avorio leather interior. It is arguably one of the most understated and elegant of all the 70th Anniversary cars, and a genuine piece of Ferrari history.
The exterior is complemented by a matte black rear diffuser with gloss Pure Metal Silver flaps, matte black grilles, sill covers and rear air ducts, Scuderia Ferrari shields, 20″ forged painted wheels and aluminium-finish brake calipers. Inside, the Avorio leather features tone-on-tone stitching, horizontally ribbed seat panels and embroidered Cavallinos. It is contrasted by Nero leather on the upper cabin and rear shelf, gloss Pure Metal Silver detailing and a yellow rev counter. A Tailor Made 70 Anni dedication plate confirms the car’s provenance. Power comes from Ferrari’s multi-award-winning 3. 9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing 670 PS (661 bhp) and 760 Nm through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. That gives 0–62 mph in 3. 0 seconds and a top speed of over 205 mph. The car has a full Ferrari service history. With its one-of-one specification, historically significant livery and exceptionally low mileage, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most collectable modern Ferraris.
