This Abarth 595C is a lovely example of a car that has clearly been maintained as its previous owner's pride and joy. After walking around the car, it quickly became apparent that it hasn't suffered the everyday use and neglect that many Abarths have. From the four matching premium tyres to the condition of the interior and paintwork, everything points towards a car that has been cared for properly. This is further supported by an exceptional record of service history, documenting not only major services and timing belt replacements, but also the smaller serviceable items that are so often overlooked.
I'm not usually one for buying performance cars, let alone modified examples, particularly considering that we provide our own in-house warranty. However, this was one of those unusual cars that caught my attention. The exhaust has been subtly enhanced, along with an engine remap carried out by a Fiat and Alfa Romeo specialist, giving the car a sound and level of performance comparable to the higher-specification Competizione models. Importantly, that is the extent of the modifications. The rest of the car remains remarkably standard, and to the untrained eye, it looks like any other well-kept 595C. After speaking with the previous owner, it became clear that these changes had been carefully considered and professionally carried out, with no corners cut in the process.
The electric folding roof operates exactly as it should, and the car drives beautifully. There is very little evidence of wear throughout, and even the engine bay reflects the same level of care shown to the rest of the vehicle.
Overall, this is a particularly appealing example, not simply because of its condition, but because of the attention it has received throughout its life. It's a car that has clearly meant a great deal to its previous owner, and that is exactly the sort of vehicle I enjoy offering for sale.
