The M3 CRT, where CRT stands for Carbon Racing Technology, was built by BMW in a run of just 67 examples worldwide. This example is number 63 of 67 and comes with the original CRT identification plate in the interior. The basis is the E90 M3, but BMW M developed the CRT as a considerably more exclusive and lighter version. The naturally aspirated V8 was enlarged to 4. 4 litres and produces 450 hp, paired with the M DCT dual-clutch transmission. The combination of the high-revving V8, rear-wheel drive, weight savings and extensive use of carbon fibre makes the CRT one of the most special versions from the era of BMW M's naturally aspirated engines. KG, then BMW Vertragshändler (authorised dealer) in Geldern. The car then always stayed with the same owner. The only change in registered ownership concerns the transfer from the German company to a private individual. The car was registered in the Netherlands in 2018. As a result, there has been no succession of changing owners and no unclear international history. The car has had one fixed owner throughout its life. The carbon body panels and bumpers cannot be measured with a conventional paint thickness gauge. Not only because of the mere 67 examples produced, but above all because of the combination of a naturally aspirated V8, carbon technology, weight savings and the fact that BMW produced the CRT exclusively in very limited numbers.
