This comprehensive conversion from 2024 was based on a then brand-new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 315 CDI van, chosen to combine the proven engineering of the Sprinter chassis with a well-appointed environment for extended travel and leisure use. The interior has been carefully configured to provide comfortable accommodation and comprehensive facilities. Features include swivelling front seats and dining table with dedicated seating, a kitchen equipped with hob and refrigerator, fixed rear bed with useful storage beneath, and a comprehensive overhead storage. Further fitments include a toilet and shower with blinds fitted to the side and rear windows, and three roof vents.
Particular attention has been paid to the vehicle's off-grid capabilities, as such a comprehensive electrical and energy-management system has been employed. This includes a solar installation, Renogy 2, 000-watt inverter, Renogy MPPT charging system and a Fogstar Drift 300Ah leisure battery. A Fogstar Drift mains charging system is also fitted, alongside a CBE control panel, fuse and distribution box. The electrical installation supports a five-zone 12-volt lighting system.
Heating and hot water are supplied by a Truma Combi D system, with a FrostControl safety drain valve. Freshwater and waste-water tanks complete the onboard facilities, whilst a television provides additional entertainment. Externally, the vehicle is equipped with a Fiamma F80S side awning, extending the available living space when pitched up.
