Description
We are really pleased to offer this outstanding MGB Roadster
Supplied 2nd August 1977 by Motor Delivery Co (Northallerton) Ltd and has covered a genuine, warranted 45, 000 miles from new.
Finished in its factory colour of Glacier White and accompanied by its original bill of sale, Heritage Certificate 'Passport to Service' book, MGB Driver hand book and a very healthy history file.
The car remained with its first owner for 23 years until 2000. Only a hand full of owners since.
The car comes with a comprehensive history file detailing service history, MOT's dating back to 1990 and an invoice file that has been kept up to by the previous owners.
When sold in 2000 for £7495, the owner immediately spent £3000 on the vehicles first re-paint, putting it into pristine condition. The car still presents immaculately throughout.
The engine bay looks totally original and even has the original rust protection wax visible on the bulk head and inner wings.
More desirable, leather seats have been fitted along with a walnut dash, radio and speakers and a red carpet set which really lift the interior.
Purchased by its latest custodian in 2014 just after the chrome bumper conversion was carried out, the car has been maintained to an excellent standard.
Recent radiator and coolant pipe work, recent leaf springs and bushes, professionally tuned, the car drives faultlessly.
A very capable and useable classic car that has seen many exciting miles with its latest custodian to include the Liège-Brescia-Liège Rally, taking them to Slovenia and back without issue.
It has a draught-stop fitted behind the seats, which makes open top motoring much more pleasant, also incorporating a high-level brake light for added safety. (Fully removable should one wish to do so)
This car will take some beating in condition and history, its a true time warp and honest car, top quality low mileage examples are difficult to find.
Export enquiries welcome
