Bedford RL (DIESEL ENGINE)Timber tractor with Boughton winch.
A unique opportunity to purchase a fully restored and working Bedford timber tractor. There were only three of these Bedfords converted and one was definately cut up., the fate of the other Bedford is unknown.
THIS CHASSIS IS NOT AN S TYPE BEDFORD BUT A RL WITH 4WD, SHORTNED, STRENGHTHEN AND CONVERTED WHEN NEW BY RENOLDS BOUGHTON. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL BRASS BOUGHTON PLATE TO PROVE.
Orinially supplied to John Steynings of East Sussex and later sold to Cyril Groombridge Heathfield. Aquired by present owner and restored.
