Retro Ride in Metallic Beige.
This Beta Coupe has covered just over 55, 000 miles. MOT til' May 2013.
She was undersealed from new and re-sealed again almost a year ago. The first owner kept it for 23 years, dry stored between 91-2005, when it was recommissioned and been well looked after since.
The car is very reliable and has been used as an [almost] daily driver for over a year, and regularly drives a 120 mile round trip to work meetings. Great fun to drive [no PAS though]
I have 2 keys and the original bill of sale together with a very thick history file, with no 'missing' years. Also a copy of the previous HPI check from the owner before me. I had rear seat [lap] belts fitted and she also recently had new brake pads. No structural work, all as original but general respray/ touch ups in the past.
It is a very good example but please do remember this is an original 30 yr old car, therefore the negatives are;
All the electrics work- [though being an old Italian', they're a little shakey' ] The window motor is 'weak' and needs a hand, and the indicator speed occasionally flickers out of time. There have been some minor repairs to the interior upholstery and the padding has obviously 'sunk' a bit over the years, see phots.
The trim surrounding the sunroof handle is cracked (available from Beta Boys]. There is some minor bubbling beneath the bonnet nose and the offside meeting door edge, otherwise very good bodywork.
Being so few left on the road it gets a lot of attention, (see 'Howmanyleft. com') and as they're become rarer, sensibly priced original uk cars are becoming harder to find.
With a very small amount of effort this will be an absolute beauty.
