Herbie is a 1998 1. 6i Right Hand Drive classic shape WV Beetle. He has 12 months MOT (to April 2015) passed (01/ 04/ 2014) with no reservations, 6 months tax (Sept 2014) and serviced Feb'14. He's never been driven in road salt!
What came as new: VW factory-fit sliding roof, alarm, front+rear heated windscreen, deluxe soundproofing and genuine front parcel shelf. Originally sold by Beetles-UK to a Vicar along with private registration from new H13RBE

Authentic “Herbie Fully Loaded” NASCAR racing stickers. Genuine Kamei front spoiler. 6v horn conversion. Racing style battery cut-off switch. Alpine ICE. Rear parcel shelf with speakers. Leatherette seat covers protecting original velour seats. Racing window nets. Original Beetles UK mats and on top of those rubber EMPI mats. EMPI shifter. EMPI adjustable pushrods. EMPI rocker covers. 5x Porsche ATS “cookie cutter” wheels (inc spare) and also a separate Porsche space saver wheel. Goodyear Eagle tyres. “Angel eyes” headlight conversion. All chrome work is stainless steel painted matt black. Alternative black show number plates.
* Remote control operation* Herbie has a few tricks: (1) you can turn his ignition on, (2) beep the horn, (3) start up the engine! (4) turn everything off. All by remote control!
Everything in place for “Fast and furious style” underlight side LEDs (it's in the film).
The best bit:
Herbie is one most eye-catching cars on the road. Be prepared to feel like a celebrity!
The could be better bit:
Has surface rust under the corner of the front windscreen. Must stress Herbie has never seen road salt and has had no welding.
We have loved this car since Feb 2008. Includes a stack of paperwork and receipts including original brochure and sales receipt.
