I have been fortunate enough to own this very special car for 8 years now.
It is the perfect car for wafting along on a summers day, or even a crisp winters evening with the powerful heater on.

Buy to not only enjoy but also as a sound investment.
Prior to my ownership this car was on display indoors at a famous racetrack museum, as a replica of a late 90’s F1 pace car. Whether this was the original intention when commissioned I have no idea but the first owner seems to have left no option unticked and must have pushed the original price well North of £80k in turning this in to a very exclusive SL.
Being such a unique and low mileage R129 I have no doubt that this will continue to appreciate in value over the coming years but sadly I no longer have a use for it as I now have a young family.
I have owned this beautiful car for many years and will be very sad to see it go. It has performed flawlessly for me in this time and drives as new.
As I own a road legal lightweight track day toy as well she has simply been used for very occassional gentle cruising on sunny days.
I particularly sought out an early ‘98 SL320 as this was one of the very last 24 Valve Straight 6 engined SL’s made. It sounds glorious on the rare occasion that the throttle pedal does find the thick Designo carpet and is, in my opinion, far superior to the 3. 2l V6 lump that replaced it later that year.
It has clearly been cherished throughout it’s life and is in absolutely stunning condition for a 17 year old car. I still have the original accessories such as the Mercedes Benz First Aid kit and warning triangle. On very close inspection the paintwork is not quite perfect in a couple of small areas but overall the car is very, very clean for it's age.
