For sale is this Velosolex 1700 from around 1960. This is one of the very desireable early round frame models.
I have completely gone through the bike restoring it to good order whilst keeping the original patina where possible. The front wheel has been rebuilt with new hub and spokes, engine has had new piston and ring, fuel system stripped and cleaned, new front lamp lens and reflector. It has been treated to new Hutchinson tyres and new inner tubes front and back. It just needs a replacement throttle cable and front brake blocks to finish. There is good compression and a spark but I have not attempted to start it.
The bike is not UK registered abut I do have the French Certificate de Cession which may or may not be able to help with regestration.
Pick up is pref but I can post by seperating the engine from the bike at a cost of GBP60 to mainland UK. Or I am happy to make available for pick up by your own courier.
