Up for sale regrettably is my 1967 single seat Norton P11 Scrambler, ( one of only 500 produced ) which I have owned since 2001. Here is some of the work carried out over the years and the bike was put on the road for the first time in 2015. Engine was stripped when purchased and the following work carried out:- new superblend drive side bearing, new high capacity timing side bearing ( 10 balls ), new con rod bearings (standard), new rod end bolts and nuts, new piston rings (standard) new timing case chains, seats and valves checked (ground in), new Amal Premier carbs, Goodridge rocker oil feed pipe, external screw on cartridge oil filter. Gearbox bearings renewed, roller layshaft bearing fitted, lots of stainless, frame and tin ware resprayed by Bike Paints (Cupar), original Dunlop rims with excellent chrome, electronic ignition, new coils, new stator, rectifier, battery, harness rewired. All in all a very beautiful original and well looked after machine, bike is being sold with private plate which relates to the bike model.
