Due to no change in my circumstances I am regrettably having to sell my Lancia Delta HF Integrale..
As the add title says the car is a none runner and the engine is out and needs a rebuild or replaced, would be a good project for someone with a little time to spare.
The engine issue was caused due to the Pierburg Turbo Wastegate Control Valve failing and making the engine run lean, resulting in the No: 4 piston melting on the top.
The car was transported straight to Auto Integrale to asses the damage with the hope to get her repaired. I was told that the piston stayed in one piece, though had heavily scored the bore and that the engine will need a new block at £500. The heat also damaged the edge of the exhaust valves, though was told just to buy a full set at £192, + labour to build and install coming to another £2500, sadly for me this wasn't financially viable at that time..!
So as I couldn't afford this the car was moved to a lock up in Devon and has been there for 6 years with the hope I would get in a financial position to fix her myself, though unfortunately that just hasn't happened.
Recently the lock up period ran out and the car was transported back up to my address in Richmond and has been here for the last month or so and although it is under a cover I really don't want it to go to ruin, as the body work is in reasonably good condition, due to being in a lock up all this time, so I'd rather my Lancia go to a good home..!

Prior to the engine issue, I had sourced another head from Auto Integrale for £300, as the one on the car had the design fault rattle, this replacement head has never been fitted and is now with the car.
