1976 VW Trekker 182, right hand drive.
Sold as a Project.
This car has recently been imported from Bali, Indonesia. Where it has spent 40 years in a warm Southern hemisphere location.
It has been registered on the NOVA scheme with all duties and taxes paid.
Indonesian registration and ownership papers are included with the sale.
This car will now be eligible for road tax exemption.
The car has retained its original 1. 6 ltr engine along with many of its other original features. (Wheels, hood caps, petrol cap, steering wheel etc.)
The car starts easily and drives well. The soft top and Windows are in good condition.
The car benefits from an additional roll bar, which is removable.

Negative points
The paint has been applied thickly
Some rust appearing in the usual places (bottom of the window screen, bottom of the bonnet and slight blistering on the bottom of some doors) however, this is only superficial and does not present a significant issue.
Floor pans are patchy
Speedo and fuel gauge are not working
Brakes lights not working (all other electrics work)
All in all for a 41 year old car it should not take too much work to become road worthy. It would offer a great start point for a project.
The price is fair so I am not open to silly offers or swaps. Payment will be cash only. Buyer is to arrange collection after purchase.
Inspections/ test drive can be arranged but only by those who are seriously interested in purchasing.
