Description
This BWA was made in Milan Italy, around ten were made and this is number 326602 made in April 66. The car is quite unusual in that the chassis is of aluminium in a ladder type construction with two box section outside rails running the length of the car of 80mm x 180mm which gives it immense stiffness and strength. I bought the car in very poor condition and have been systematically re building it to how it is today. The engine is Ford Cosworth MAE, 1000cc screamer with down draft Webber carburetor. The engine has been re built with new pistons from Cosworth GS valves and springs and new bearing shells. The engine has a dry sump. The gear box is Italian Colotti and has some spare ratios. The suspension arms, some of which have had to be replaced, are all nickel plated. My intention was to parade/ race it at Historic meetings such as Goodwood and Monaco, but I have now sold my house in Spain and have no where to keep the car so I am forced to sell. The car requires a little work to totally finish such as carb tuning, ignition timing, and bleeding of hydraulic systems. In order for a quick sale I have priced the car at £36000
