The current vendor has spent many years researching the marque, and has assembled a good collection of original parts, to be fitted to this 1925 chassis. The chassis itself has been professional straightened and refurbished and has had four new road springs made by Jones. The front axle and hubs are ready to fit, and work has started on the rear axle, a spare a/ f example is also with the Lot, as well as an engine, crankshaft, rods and pistons, an excellent c. w. p., together with another, gearbox, flywheel and a quantity of other parts.
Also accompanying this project is the original buff log book and a photograph album, which details the build of another Ansaldo into a very pretty period sports 2-seater. Only four of these superb Italian cars are currently in the UK, and this fifth one would be a most welcome addition.
