The Bentley Arnage was capable of travelling 1 000 metres from a standing start in just 25. 8 seconds and covering 0 to 100 km/ h in 5. 2 seconds, a feat described by some British journalists as "not too bad for a sports car ... but excellent for a cathedral!". Essentially classical in style, featuring a steeply sloping stern with the indispensable front grille framed by double round headlights, the Bentley Arnage remained a pioneer amongst top limousines.
The Arnage T on offer was bought new by the current owner and sent immediately to the renowned American preparer VGD Genaddi Design to be turned into a 'Station Wagon', a model not available at Bentley! The owner, the wealthy heir of a large Italian industrial family, and a great Rolls-Royce and Bentley enthusiast, wanted an exclusive four-wheel drive estate for his St. Moritz property.
A small fortune has been spent on this enormous project. Elements of a Cadillac Escalade were adapted to make this Bentley four-wheel drive. With an established reputation for other impressive creations, such as a cabriolet version of the Ford GT, the designers at Genaddi Design company worked to transform the boot and add an enormous double-length Webasto sunroof, lighting up entire passenger compartment. When the project was finished, the car was delivered to the owner's home in Monaco. Unhappy with the US company's finishing touches, he then sent the Bentley to Pininfarina to completely redo the interior. The owner admited, with some embarrassment, to having spent no less than 900 000 USD on the Arnage T (including its original purchase)! The upholstery, roof lining, carpets, and boot interior were all elegantly re-done. The wood trim is painted mahogany. The car has covered 40 000 km from new, and comes with its log-book and owner's manual. It has been maintained by Bentley Monaco and Saint-Moritz.

Dans un esprit très classique, avec un profil à la poupe plongeante et affichant fièrement l'immuable calandre grillagée encadré de double optiques ronde, la Bentley Arnage fait encore et toujours figure de pionnière parmi les limousines survoltées
L'Arnage T que nous vous présentons a été achetée neuve par le propriétaire actuel et immédiatement envoyé chez le célèbre préparateur américain VGD Genaddi Design pour la transformer en 'Station Wagon', le modèle n'étant pas disponible chez Bentley ! Effectivement, le propriétaire n'est autre que le riche héritier d'une grande famille industrielle italienne, grand amateur de Rolls Royce et Bentley, qui avait besoin d'un brake exclusif quatre roues motrices pour sa propriété de Saint-Moritz.
Une fortune a été dépensée dans ce projet colossal. Pour permettre de transformer cette Bentley en quatre roues motrices, il a fallu adapter le système de propulsion d'un Cadillac Escalade. Ensuite, sur un dessin des designers de la firme Genaddi Design, qui n'en sont pas à leur premier projet puisqu'ils sont bien connu pour avoir conçu une version cabriolet de la Ford GT et autres créations impressionnantes, la carrosserie a été transformée dans le moindre détail pour adapter le coffre ainsi que l'immense toit ouvrant double longueur Webasto donnant de la lumière dans la totalité de l'habitacle. Une fois le projet terminé, le propriétaire la reçoit à Monaco où il vit. Non content des finitions réalisées par les américains, il envoie la Bentley chez Pininfarina pour refaire entièrement l'intérieur. Le propriétaire avoue avec une certaine gêne avoir dépensé pas moins de 900 000 USD (en comptant l'achat neuf de l'Arnage T) ! Toute la sellerie, le ciel de toit, les moquettes, l'espace bagages du coffre arrière, tout a été refait avec goût et élégance. Les boiseries sont en acajou peint. La voiture a aujourd'hui 40 000 kms d'origine, possède ses carnets d'entretien et ses manuels d'utilisation. Elle est entretenue par Bentley Monaco et Saint-Moritz.
