Here for sale we have a smart, soft top Series 3.
As the photos show, it is well presented, and benefits from a recent canvas hood. Externally there are a variety of desirable features including free wheeling hubs, side steps, bonnet mounted spare, mudflaps, a good set of matching tyres on standard rims and a towbar. The vehicle is nice and straight and the paintwork is better than most one might see of this age.
On the inside, there are 3 front seats and deluxe mats. The rear is unfitted, although bench seats can be easily added if required. It's currently color coded and fitted with a load mat. Other than the fitted clock, the interior remains original and unmodified.
Out on the road, the 750 tyres give more relaxed cruising than the standard 650's, and the free wheeling hubs assist in reducing wear and keeping the steering light.
In summary, this is, in our opinion, a nice example of the popular soft top Series 3, in an iconic colour, and well presented - with tax exemption around the corner and classic insurance, it also promises low, regular running costs too, with inflation beating appreciation.
