1931 Austin 7 AG Tourer
Registered 30th December 1931
This fine example is one of the very last Chummy bodied Austin’s produced and unlike many of its predecessors it has an all steel body instead of the standard aluminium.
Layed up in the 50s this delightful little gem did not see the light of day again until 2004 when it was very carefully put back onto the road in 2006 after careful extensive work.
The engine has been completely stripped and still had original pistons with the engine number stamped into them.
Rebuilt with new standard pistons the original ones still remain with the car.
Excluding the pistons this car has matching numbers through out
The electrics where completely replaced and it was re-trimmed and resprayed new double duck roof and side screens
History file includes buff continuation log book, British motor heritage trust certificate, old M. O. Ts and various club books letters from previous owners etc
I did have someone mention the lights to me the other day and yes the headlights are 100% correct
This little beauty could never disappoint
The car is as solid as they come.
