Currently being built. Essentially this car will be a mostly brand new 105 bhp Citroen 2CV.
New galvanised chassis and mostly all new running parts, etc. New wider tyres on widened new standard steel wheels. Raised gearing using a modified 2CV gearbox with a Dyane differential. New roof. Renovated seats with new springs. Almost all new white paint. New bumpers. One-off custom stainless steel exhaust with no cats. Simple air intake with cone filters. Other mods include anti-roll bars, much stronger springs and a heated front screen.
BMW R1150 RT engine with 1130cc and 105 bhp. This of course is light years more than the 29 bhp the standard car has. The difference in torque (times 3) means that the gears are pulled effortlessly and racing versions of this car have shown that they are very nimble once the suspension has been modified to suit the new power.
The engine itself will have a Dynojet Power Commander fitted to get the fuelling spot on and it will thus be a very economical car as well as a truly rapid one. Think power to weight ratio of a Clio 3. 0 V6 and you're there!
Just 4 of these exist to date and this one is for sale only due to emigration to New Zealand likely happening this winter. Stunning car available around October.
It's almost a new 2CV with a fantastic proven German Boxer 1130cc engine, with electronic ignition, fuel injection and a very torquey yet revvy engine. Incredibly rare beast.
