Here for sale we have a smart, truck-cab configuration Series 3. On the outside, the bodywork is very straight for a vehicle of this age and several desirable features have been added - Free Wheeling Hubs to reduce front axle wear and improve economy, defender style door mirrors, correct bonnet mounted spare, and a towball with electrics. In addition, the original galvanising also survives and this really sets off the look, along with the rear mud-flaps.
On the inside, the vehicle has a set of recent, very desirable deluxe high-back seats with matching middle seat, coupled with Acoustic Matting to reduce interior noise. Deluxe matting is fitted on-top of the Acoustic Matting, as in all of our vehicles - all of this means that it really is a nice place to be, and with the working heater, is ideal for all conditions.
Out on the road, this vehicle pulls well, and stops as it should. The engine is a fit unit which starts with minimal glow. A recent exhaust is fitted, and the vehicle runs well with little smoke from cold. A working overdrive is fitted to extend the gearing, and this, included with the Range Rover Differentials, maximises the ability of the period Diesel engine - the vehicle is much quieter at speed, thanks to all of these additions.
