Description
The MR2 derived from a 1976 Toyota design project with the goal of a car which would be enjoyable to drive, yet still provide good fuel economy — the result was one of the most popular Cars Toyota ever produced. With a 0-60 time of just over 8 seconds and handling to match the car was a success from day one.
This MR2 was manufactured in 1989, has had 3 owners since 2004, and 8 owners since 1989 and covered just 87, 200 miles from new. The car has clearly been well cared for with regular services and items replaced as and when required - in the last 18months work has included two services, a cam-belt change, four tyres, a silencer and a clutch replacement.
The white body work presents extremely well and the interior is virtually unmarked with a recent new radio. Mechanically the car is strong with good engine/ gearbox and a brand new Clutch done 1500 Miles Ago. The car is NOT an Import with the Sills in excellent condition without rust. There are no leaks in the Sunroof and the MOT and Service History. The car is sitting on BC Series Type RH Coilovers that have done 500 miles, I also have the Original shocks and springs boxed up. Also it is sitting on brand new Toyo Proxes T1R tyres.
