Description
Red Suzuki SB200 2 stroke twin. 1981, recently MOT'd and in full working condition. It's showing 6767 miles, which looks about right, but can't be relied upon. The bike rides very well and sounds very crisp.
The V5 shows one owner, but I haven't registered this in my name yet so as to keep the 'one owner' status.
The SB200 is 36 years old and has not been restored, so all the chrome is original and shows signs of pitting - the photos don't show this so please bear this in mind.
The petrol tank has a dent on the left hand side and some scratches on it and the right hand engine case needs respraying. Otherwise the rest of the bike is in very good original condition.
I have done some essential work to the bike - it has new steering head bearings and while I had the front end off, I had the headlamp ears and fork shrouds powder coated in matching red. I also put a new front tyre on the bike and it has a new battery and spark plugs.
The bike is incredibly original and even includes the handlebar mounted helmet lock - and it works! Everything works perfectly and the bike is great fun to ride.
So either use the bike as it is, or continue to restore it and watch the value grow. Buy it now before the prices of these start to go mad like RD/ KH/ GTs have.
