We are delighted to present for sale, this early Series 2a, in popular soft top configuration.
This vehicle has been the subject of some extensive refurbishment from the previous owner from top to bottom, resulting in this fine presentation. Much of the work was mechanical or structural, so hidden from view - but it's nice to know it's been done!
Externally, the vehicle has survived well in "standard" spec - the proper, early sharp front valence is present, plus other nice features such as razor bonnet with mounted spare, rear mudflaps, and original galvanised cappings. The canvas is recent, and there's a set of larger 750 tyres, to aid with better cruising speed.
To the inside, there is a recent seat set, and deluxe matting is fitted throughout. There's a heater too, to keep you warm in winter - a nice touch, not always present in a vehicle this early. A towbar with electrics is fitted too, so it can work as well as play! Twin wiper motors are also fitted so both driver and passenger can see where they are going!
A comprehensive file comes supplied with this 2a, documenting the masses of improvement to which it has been subjected in recent years by former keepers.
