Our Matra is an outstanding Djet 6 that was delivered in 1967 near Toulouse, as shown on the “barré rouge” and on the service booklet. The car never left the area. It features gorgeous red paintwork associated with a black upholstery. The car is concourse condition and fitted with 1300cc Gordini engine, the most desirable powertrain. Its dossier tracks all several owners, amongst them, M. Chanabé, former Porsche and Detomaso dealer, who kept the car from 1986 until 2011. Our Matra benefitted from an overall engine restoration in 2011, and a paintjob was performed in 2016. This Djet 6 was featured in Retroviseur N°311 in May 2015. This road ready car is without doubts the finest available at the time.
