Description
For sale is a lovely untouched Nourish/ Weslake 500cc twin cylinder 8 valve race engine. Built to standard road race specs by David Nourish and quoted as giving a healthy 58-60BHP at 8700 RPM. Electronic Interspan ignition fitted. The engine was bought from new in 1988 directly from David Nourish but NEVER used or fitted so the engine is in perfect new condition.
Also included is a pair of unplated exhaust pipes to fit and a set of brand new, boxed 34mm Amal Mk 2 carbs all bought together with the engine.
The original order letter to Mr. Nourish, the invoice, delivery note and several parts list and technical information is also included.
I also have available a replica Norton Manx gearbox fitted with a 4 speed Quaife cluster that could be sold together with the engine. The gearbox is unused and in new condition like the engine but will need assembly. 100% complete with all bearings etc.
