This 2002 51 plate Bora 1. 9 TDI 6 Speed has the 130 bhp engine and has been owned by a mate of mine since 2005. He has just bought a new car from a main dealer here in Macclesfield but had to drive over from his home in Kings Lynn to collect it, leaving the Bora with me to dispose of.
It is basically a sound car but the MOT has just run out. It has been put in for a test and it failed only on rear springs, 2 bulbs and a cracked windscreen. An advisory was issued about rear discs but they work fine. As I do not have the space and I don't like spending money on other peoples motors it is here for spares/ repairs!
The overall condition is good for its age, the interior is very tidy and the exterior is ok although the bonnet has faded, the lacquer on the boot spoiler has lifted and there is slight bubbling on the NSF wing. It won't take much effort to get this car through an MOT which would be worthwhile as it drives very well and all warning lights go out as they should.
Bring your trade plates and drive away..
