Beschreibung
For reluctant sale is a very rare and special bike for a Hinckley Triumph collector as this is the first UK Triumph Daytona 1000 Sport which had authentication from triumph at the time, acknowledging that it was the first motorcycle from there Hinckley works to be registered.
The Daytona is in immaculate condition with only a couple of minor scratches to the paintwork in the usual areas from being ridden. The bike has only had one previous owner from being new, who I knew very well. From there I have owned the bike for just over a year and since my ownership it has been dry stored and sheeted but never ridden.
It has had a few minor repairs over the years that arise from general use such as fork seals and chain and such like. The bike does, however, need a battery and a bulb in one of the front headlight which I aim to fit before selling to any buyer to which they will need to put the bike through an MOT which it should pass no problem.
This would make the perfect addition to any museum collection or could be used regularly as a weekend ride. The bike is still complete with original tool kit as well as a maintenance manual, service history from the dealer, past tax discs and MOT certificates , however, the authentication has been lost over time but using the VIN number the provenance could be traced from the DVLA.
