I have owned this car for over two years and it has been great fun to drive. It come under classic car insurance so it has been very cheap to run. This car is from the era when the Primera won the BTCC two years in a row.
The car in is great condition mechanically, the engine and gearbox are good and strong. The suspension has been completely refurbished, new upper and lower control arms, drop links, poly bushes on the anti-roll bar at the front. The rear multi link suspension bushes have all been replaced for polly bushes. After which a full 4 wheel alignment was done. It has stock shocks with tein lowering springs. I like the stance of the car, it is uncompromising at low speeds, but the handling and feedback through the steering wheel is worth it for me.
The engine has always been looked after, I have serviced it 3 times in my ownership, including a valve cover gasket change. The internals of the engine are very clean. I replaced the sump. The sr20de is a good engine and will last for many more miles. It has also had a new radiator.
The exterior is fair, it still looks like a great car as can be seen in the pictures. But it is old and it shows. The bumper had been painted by the previous owner, I was never happy with it, which is why i acquired a replacement. It will be included in the sale, it is factory flame red same as the car but it will need painting. The side sills are rusty and I have photographed them so you can see. The rest of the car is sound, it has been under-sealed, and the other rust prone areas such as the front cross member under the radiator etc, is solid. The lights have been fitted with a vynl wrap which can be removed as it may not be to everyone's taste. Same goes for any of the stickers on the car windows (One says 'Soul Of Japan' the other says 'No. 1'). There are various bumps and scrapes, some lacquer peel on the rear wing.
The interior of this car is in great original condition. The steering wheel and the gear knob are aftermarket but I carefully selected them both to match the interior without looking out of place.
The car was involved in a front end collision as can be seen from the bumper but the slam panel etc have not been affected, you can see from the pictures everything is nice and straight.
Lots of receipts, unfortunately I have no service records barring the work I have done. I have tracked down the Nissan dealership the car was sold and maintained at during the warranty period, which is in Ireland.

Please make sure you have fully comprehensive insurance on a 2. 0 car or more for a test drive, you can understand why I have to ask as it is a nippy motor.
These do not come up for sale often. Please no time waster, I will consider reasonable offers. I am not in a rush or in need of money (if it doesn't sell I will keep it) so do not make me stupid offers.
