Description
A lovely example of probably one of the rarest speedway bikes of the era. A stunning and rare piece of Speedway history. Designed and built by the great man himself featuring the 5 stud JAP engine cradled in the hand built Erskine frame. A classic and minimalist design that all speedway bikes even to this day adhere to. This particular machine has a name plate stating that Neil Roberts was its owner at some time in its racing life. Bike has had a sympathetic restoration (believed to be by Neil Robert's son) and the spec includes an original twin float Amal carb, original "dirt track" magneto, 1" diameter handlebars and large diameter rear wheel. An absolutely stunning bike that could pass as a work of art in any surrounding. Definitely an appreciating asset. Please call for more details and pictures
