Hello, L'atelier des 1000 is pleased to present you today for sale this Alfa Romeo Spider series 3 in a rare Quadrifoglio Verde limited edition with a Silver Grey configuration, its interior in Grey Leather and a Bordeaux soft top .
The Spider was born in 1966 with the famous duetto and was modernised over the years, retaining the lines of its original design and a very similar chassis and engine architecture. 2, 598 examples of the QV were produced and it is the top-of-the-range version of the spider, inheriting, among other things, genuine leather upholstery and specific rocker panels and still carrying the famous Bialbero 2. 0L aluminium engine with twin overhead shafts fed by two Weber carburettors.
Our car is from 1989 and has 124, 000 km on the clock. It is in very good general condition and is particularly pleasant to drive. Delivered new to the Netherlands, we have a record of the mileage since new, previous registration documents and a few maintenance invoices. The paintwork is in good condition, shiny and there are no major defects apart from a small dent in the front wing, which will be included in the sale.
The original aluminium wheels are in very good condition and fitted with Michelin tyres. The underframes are free of corrosion. The original upholstery is well preserved and has a slight patina, as do the original red carpets. The original steering wheel is in good condition and the dashboard is not cracked, with all the instrumentation working.
The Bordeaux alpaca soft top is in very good condition and a soft top cover is supplied. We also have a Targa-type hard top available at extra cost. The registration document states that the car seats 4, although space at the rear is limited. Mechanically, the car starts easily without noise or smoke and revs up quickly.
The gearbox guides and locks its gears correctly. The gearbox silent blocks, central bearing and shaft bearing were replaced in 2022.
The running gear behaves well, there is no abnormal play in the steering, and the brakes are perfectly balanced, while the suspension is also doing its job properly.
