The bodywork was restored in 2024 and the body received a complete new paint job (invoice: €4, 080). The body is now in very good condition, with a uniform colour and an excellent shine. We did find a trace of an old repair on the left rear wing. The bumpers and chrome bumpers are perfectly aligned and in good condition. We did note some slight oxidation on the front bumper and two small holes. The grille is in good condition. This model is fitted with P700 tripod headlights. The chrome fuel filler cap is slightly oxidised. The "White" leatherette soft top is in good condition with no signs of discolouration, wear or distension. Its watertightness conforms to the standards of the period. The PVC micas are slightly opaque, with no breaks or cracks. This model is fitted with a much sought-after option on roadsters without side windows: Plexiglas sidescreens and side windscreens. The latter are in good condition. The 4 painted 15" wire wheels and their 4 chrome knock-offs are in good condition. The set is fitted with 4 MAXISS tyres with 20% wear at the front and rear. This model comes with its original spare wheel. Among the interesting "Body / Exterior" equipment and options fitted to this model, we noted: Sidescreens, side windscreens and P700 tripod headlamps. Interior: The "Black" colour leatherette upholstery with "White" colour piping is in good condition. We noted a small cut in the piping on the front backrests. The black leatherette door jambs are in good condition. The dashboard and cap in "Black" imitation leather are in good condition. The JAEGER on-board instrumentation and the SW ammeter are fully functional. Only the instrument cluster lighting is no longer functional. The original 3-spoke bakelite steering wheel is in good condition. The Triumph wooden gear knob has an even patina of use. This model is also fitted with 2-point "aviation" type seatbelts at the front. All the black carpets are protected by TRIUMPH rubber mats. This model is fitted with a battery switch and a passenger grab handle. Among the interesting equipment and interior options fitted to this model, we noted the aviation-style seatbelts at the front, the wooden TRIUMPH gear knob and the passenger grab handle. Chassis: On deck, we found the chassis and body to be sound, with no visible signs of structural corrosion. The fundamentals: rocker panels, floorboards, fender panels, wheel arches, ladder frame and side members are in good condition.
