Description
Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud (retrospectively known as the Cloud I) from 1957, finished in classic but infinitely elegant shades of grey (Tudor Grey over Shell Grey), lightly metallised, a combination that perfectly suits the lines of the model, a model that we at Albion Classic Cars are particularly fond of, especially in its first version, equipped with the robust in-line 6-cylinder engine, which is easy to live with and maintain.
This model remains in excellent condition for its age and has the very desirable option of power steering, which is a great help when manoeuvring the car's 5m38... The cabin is a rolling living room, with precious woods and Connolly leathers taking pride of place. The deep red St James upholstery is of the finest effect and remains in excellent condition, supple and tear-free. The burr walnut woodwork is also in excellent condition. The vehicle underwent an extensive restoration in 2005, body and interior, by a renowned restorer. 20 years later, the vehicle is still in excellent condition, irrefutable proof of the quality of the work carried out. The engine runs perfectly and the vehicle drives very well, and is likely to be able to cover any distance, having recently been repatriated over 250km. The penultimate owner had also driven the car for thousands of kilometres on the roads of France, Switzerland and Italy, so that in the end it was only used for what it was built for: a grand tourer! With 28, 500 miles on the 5-figure odometer, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value for money. This RHD right-hand drive car comes with its full UK registration, owner's manual, comprehensive toolkit and extensive history file.
For French registration, please allow 5. 5% import VAT on the invoice value (to be agreed together...) Visible by appointment in Mouscron, on the French-Belgian border near Tourcoing and 20 minutes from Lille.
