Specialist in collectors' and sports cars, we offer for sale this Renault Alpine A110, fully restored 800km ago -Chassis number 15997 -Basic model: A110 1300 V85 -French registration document -5-speed gearbox type 353 from Alpine 1600s -Engine 1440 -Launched on 30/ 09/ 1975 Much more than just a vehicle, this is a myth, an icon of French motoring and winner of numerous competitions around the world. This car spent more than 30 years in the Isère department and has only had 3 owners since. The first was a passionate Alpine and R5 Turbo enthusiast, the second a demanding enthusiast and user, who owned this Alpine for 21 years and undertook work to make the car more reliable with the aim of taking part in regularity rallies, and the 3rd current owner wished to sell the car to pursue other projects.
More than €26, 000 (not including the gearbox) has recently been invested in mechanical and bodywork work to restore this car to like-new condition, and it has covered barely 800km since then. Prepared by G'Motors, the engine is a Renault 5 Alpine 1440, which has been fully restored and prepared. Here is a list of the work carried out (with invoices of around €12, 000): Removal of the engine and gearbox, uncoupling of the rear axle and removal of the bumpers. Complete overhaul of the cylinder head (proofing, surfacing, etc.), replacement of intake and exhaust valve guides, replacement of springs and reinforced cups, new lower engine casing, replacement of connecting rod and crankshaft bearings. New cylinder head gasket, engine gasket kit, replacement carburettor gaskets. Installation of an expansion tank. Refurbishment of the braking system: sandblasting and refurbishment of the callipers, new hoses, new master cylinder and pipes, new brake pads, etc. The front shock absorbers are also new. On the bodywork side, no less than €14, 000 was needed to restore this car to perfect condition, carried out by Moreno Automobiles, a specialist in these vehicles. Here are the details of the bodywork: complete stripping down to the original bottom, removal of all the windows and fittings, polyester primer followed by a finishing primer to apply this magnificent blue paint, the front and rear windscreens are new as are the rear lights, the rear trim is also new. We have the complete restoration file and 25 years of invoices on this car; its power is 120hp for 625kg. This car has taken part in numerous historic rallies such as the 7th, 10th and 12th Tour de Corse, the Drôme Légende 2004 and 2005, the retro racing rallye auto 2002 Rhône Alpes, the 10th Montée Carlo historique. As you can see, this Alpine is in remarkable condition, the engine has just been run in, and it is ready to race with a car enthusiast on board in order to start or continue the adventure of historic rallies and regularity events made for this car. It has a retro-trip as well as a circuit breaker. We also have a spare wheel.
