Description
Biarritz Sport And Classic Cars (BSCC) is pleased to present this magnificent 1971 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 Junior, the successor to its big sister, the Giulietta. Launched in 1963, a year after the saloon, it was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro for the Bertone coachbuilder, and its elegant, well-balanced lines quickly made it an icon of Italian automotive style. This version, with its 4-lamp grille and flat bonnet, was the ultimate evolution of the GT 1300 Junior. Its 1300 cm3 4-cylinder engine, with double overhead camshafts, was fed by 2 Weber carburettors.
It develops 90 bhp and is powered by a 5-speed gearbox.
The car is also very agile thanks to its light weight, making it a pleasure to drive with a real sporting temperament. This attractive coupé has 4 disc brakes and we have a file of invoices dating back to the 1990s. A great deal of work has been carried out on this Alfa, including engine and bodywork refurbishment, and this car is in good condition. It starts right up and you immediately feel at ease and comfortable behind the wheel. The engine sounds very pleasant and the brakes are very effective. It's a very pleasant coupé, and the 90bhp of the engine are more than enough to give you a good feeling. The car will be fully serviced for sale, including an overhaul of the gearbox and a change of synchros. This vehicle can benefit from a warranty of up to 12 months and financing of up to 84 months.
