We present one of the very first CX GTIs from 1977, with its chrome bumpers, matt black window frames and front air deflector.
Delivered in France in September 1977, our CX has just been restored to its original Regatta Blue (AC644). The interior is entirely original. Mechanically, this GTI runs very well, and was serviced by a Citroën specialist. In 2021, its second owner undertook a mechanical restoration, including the replacement of the 5 spheres, engine mounts, tyres, etc. The 2, 347 cm3 L-Type Jetronic petrol injection engine revs perfectly and with 128hp mated to a 5-speed gearbox, this CX is capable of all types of journey and can even reach 191 km/ h. Note that the water temperature and fuel gauge work intermittently. The 83, 800km mileage seems consistent with the condition of the car. The first owner kept this CX from 1977 to 2019, that's 42 years of loyalty!
