The 964 is the perfect balance between a classic 911 and modern everyday comfort. When it was launched in 1989, the iconic lines of the original 911 were largely retained, but 85% of the car was completely new. These included the electric rear spoiler, as well as modern technologies such as ABS and power steering. The new 3. 6-litre engine developed 250 bhp, making it a very fast car by today's standards. Dressed in the rare Amethyst metallic colour with black leather interior, the options list shows a fine range of comfort. The windows and headlights are clear, with no cracks or tarnish. The front (with sticker) and rear panels clearly indicate that there have been no accidents. Thanks to its exemplary state of maintenance and low mileage, only very slight signs of use are visible inside - a testament to the care taken by its owners and the quality of workmanship that goes into these cars. The seats, door panels, controls, trim and dashboard are in perfect condition. This 1992 Porsche 964 is a fine example of the second generation 911. It is fitted with the iconic 17-inch Cup wheels, the aerodynamic rear-view mirrors of the later models and the steering wheel with airbag. It is powered by Porsche's reworked 3. 6-litre flat-six (M64) engine, which offered greater reliability, better torque and a more refined driving experience than previous versions.
