Description
Unit delivered to its first owner in Italy on 23 March 1964.
Elegant dark-blue combo, characteristic of Lancia, with a camel leather interior.
1800 cm³ version of the famous Lancia flat-four boxer with Solex carburettor developing 92 bhp.
I bought the car in 2018 in Italy from the family of its first owner, who had, therefore, parted with it 54 years after it left the factory.
The first owner kept it in its original condition throughout these years and eventually undertook a restoration of the upholstery in the last years he kept it company.
At purchase I embarked on a substantial mechanical restoration to make it reliable and give it a new lease of life. The engine has been completely rebuilt, as have the various wear items (silent blocks, suspension, water pump, clutch release bearing, etc.), the cradles, rear crossmembers, longitudinal members… The engine bay has been sandblasted and repainted to ensure better longevity of these components. The brakes have also been fully overhauled, so the car is in perfect mechanical health and ready to hit the road! €18k in paper invoices.
This is a second-hand example and the car shows no signs of modifications or accidents; the odometer reads 25, 100 kilometres. The car runs very well and is a pleasure to drive; it is an excellent grand tourer.
MOT valid (06/ 2025). Heritage/ collection registration.
