At Jaguar, the characterful sports coupé (always offered as a cabriolet) is a tradition dating back to the sculpted XK 120 in the early 1950s. The line continues with true crown jewels, from the feline Type-E in the 1960s, the baroque XJS in the seventies, and the XK8 / XKR.
A flagship model in the Coventry manufacturer’s range launched in October 1996 (and offered as a cabriolet from 1997), which marks the fruit of its forced partnership with the American giant Ford. Rest assured, the best of Jaguar is preserved, with a sensuous, rounded line evoking the famous Type-E, thanks to Geoff Lawson’s wonderfully timeless design! A true sculpture on four wheels, with timeless beauty.
Of course, the interior remains faithful to Jaguar’s fundamentals, upholstering every square inch with leather and precious veneers. Under the bonnet, this feline purrs with pleasure in a creamy yet exhilarating 4. 0 V8 delivering 396 bhp, thanks to the use of a supercharger.
The model we offer today is therefore a 2002 XKR (equipped with the famous Eaton supercharger) in superb condition, and fitted with gorgeous five-spoke wheels (made by BBS, as well known), 18 inches in diameter.
