Model history
The TR3 debuted in 1955 as the successor to the TR2, evolving into the TR3A in 1957, nicknamed the “wide mouth” by Americans for its widened grille. With its aesthetic and mechanical improvements (cylinder head optimisations, +5 hp), it quickly became a major success in the United States. Produced until 1962, the TR3A remains one of the most iconic and sought-after English roadsters for collectors today, thanks in part to its timeless silhouette and authentic sporty driving experience.
