Description
This MGA Roadster is an iconic British two-seater, fully rebuilt to as-new condition and converted to electric power by Retro-EV.
Power comes from a 105 kW (143 hp) electric motor delivering 390 Nm of torque, powered by liquid-cooled 21. 2 kWh batteries, driving the rear wheels through a single-speed transmission. Range is stated to be between 120 and 150 km.
The bodywork and chassis were restored, and the interior, chassis, suspension and brakes rebuilt from the ground up by Grips Garage, specialists in restoring and maintaining classic British cars.
This battery-electric MGA Roadster features a striking British Racing Green livery with a beige leather interior and hand-crafted seats.
It rides on 16-inch wire wheels with twin-spoke hubs, shod with Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres.
The suspension now uses adjustable coilovers and modern disc brakes at both ends.
Inside, there’s a three-spoke Moto-Lita steering wheel, Smiths gauges, and a stereo system.
The electrical system was designed by Retro-EV. The 105 kW electric motor sits in the engine bay, while modular batteries are tucked under the chassis and body. Its low centre of gravity would help keep its sporty handling.
