Glacier blue paint paired with a grey leather interior, grey carpeting and a grey tonneau cover. This magnificent MGA 1500 roadster is in excellent condition and the car runs perfectly!
The car was restored in detail in the years 2020 – 2022.
To our eyes, the MGA is the most beautiful MG design ever created. The design dates back to 1951, when MG designer Syd Enever created a streamlined body for an MG TD Le Mans.
As the successor to the MG TF, the MGA was launched in 1955 as “the first of a new line”, sporting an elegant, modern and incredibly attractive body, comfortable driving and excellent road-holding.
The MGA was a huge success for MG, not only commercially, but also in rally and racing competitions. Three MGA prototypes were entered for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1955. Two of the cars finished the race in 12th and 17th place overall, proving the value of the new car.
In the United States, the MGA won many regional and national championships in Sports Car Club of America competitions, and the MGA raced in NASCAR from 1960 to 1963.
