We are offering for sale this magnificent MERCEDES 280 SL Pagoda California, 1968 model (production 1967–1971) – (10, 228 units produced).
Vehicle features and details;
4-speed manual gearbox, overhauled in 2015 (invoice €4, 420), new clutch, stainless-steel exhaust system fitted at that time.
Major engine overhaul in 2015 (invoice €4, 280). Wheels restored this year (2025), tyres in good condition, original VDO instruments, California 4-seat version, registration document for 4 seats, European origin.
First restoration file: €15, 000 invoice between 2014 and 2017, then a few works from 2023 onwards, in particular the restoration of the wooden components and inserts in the cabin, as well as the headlining of the hard-top (invoices available).
Period colour “White 050” (code 050) + hard top in the same period colour.
“Medium Blue 354” leather upholstery restored in 2014 (invoice €4, 080).
Original VDO clock as well as the period K7 BECKER Mexico radio. 2-point front seat belts, battery disconnect cut-off under the dashboard in the cabin, jack, tool kit and spare wheel with its original cover.
