Battery cut-out Spare wheel Original jack set Tool kit Exterior / body: The vehicle shown here is an authentic PORSCHE 356 BT5 Cabriolet, 1961 model in its original colour “Schwarz R701”. The bodywork has been restored by a specialist a few years ago. On this occasion the shell received a full new paint job. The bumpers are perfectly aligned, with no crash marks or deformations. The chrome is complete and correctly positioned; only the alignment of the openings remains improvable. The mohair hood in colour “Beige” was replaced during the body restoration. It is in excellent condition, with no snags, wear or fading. The rear PVC mica is perfectly translucent and free from snags despite a few micro-scratches. Fitting of the hood is easy and its seal is as original. The mohair hood cover in colour “Beige” is also in excellent condition. The 4 chromed 15’’ rims and their PORSCHE caps are in very good condition, with no crash marks, rubbing or deformations despite some light superficial pits. The car is fitted with 4 Kumho Power Star 758 tyres with wear under 40% on both axles. This example comes with its original spare wheel, jack and tool kit. Interior: The interior has recently been restored to original spec. The leather/ faux leather upholstery “Hell Braun C” is in excellent condition, with no wear, tears or fading. A few traces of on-board access on the passenger seatback were noted. The faux leather door panels “Hell Braun C” are in very good condition, with no access marks or sagging. The carpets in “Hell Braun” are excellent, as are the PVC floor mats in “Schwarz”. The dash is in factory colour and the dash cap in faux leather “Light Brown C” is in excellent condition. The entire original VDO instrument cluster is fully functional. Oil pressure sensor replaced in 2015. The heating system was completely renewed in 2017 and works perfectly (invoice available). The period Blaupunkt radio is fully functional. The original Bakelite steering wheel has recently been replaced with a NARDI three-spoke wooden wheel, in as-new condition. Chassis: Lifting onto the ramp confirms a healthy shell with no obvious structural corrosion. The fundamentals—chassis, floor pans, spare wheel well, longitudinals, sills and fenders—are in good order. Usability reserve: by principle we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their good visual/ functional condition as validated on-road during the test and on the ramp. During dynamic testing we noted no abnormal rattles in the body or running gear (ball joints, bushings…). Braking is balanced, stable and free from vibration or unusual noises. The front and rear drums function perfectly and show no seepage. The roadworthy check carried out by our workshop before delivery will confirm overall functionality.
