JAGUAR MK2 3. 4l OVERDRIVE
French origin

Jaguar Heritage Certificate
Electric power steering
A very beautiful example of the Jaguar Mark II in its 3. 4l version with Overdrive.
Interior "RED" / Exterior "Opalescent Silver Blue"
This car was delivered on 23 January 1962 to the Delecroix dealership in Paris. According to our research it would have had only 4 owners. Noting its French origin which is quite rare, especially on this model.
The "Opalescent Silver Blue" gives it genuine English charm. Paired with the red leather interior, the car seems straight out of Her Majesty's fleet!
The bodywork is in good condition and shows some wear and age-related imperfections. The paint was redone a few years ago now. The chromes are well-presented and complete. The car is equipped with its four original wheels (wire wheels being an option at the time) on which are fitted four Michelin XVS tyres that are nearly new.
On the engine side, it is equipped with its original 3. 4l engine block fed by its SU carburetters, recently overhauled.
It retains the original overdrive.
The previous owner has incurred numerous maintenance costs, always taking care to source parts from Jaguar specialist retailers.
Notable recent items include:
- Installation of electric power steering
- Replacement of water pump and fuel pump
- Replacement of brake master cylinder
- Installation of a 4-piston aluminium front brake caliper kit
- Installation of a high-performance cooling fan and an alternator
Finally, the interior is of fine quality, in the original colour. The red upholstery makes its mark. The trim is slightly patinated but in very good condition as are the carpets. The wood veneers are in standard condition. The charm of the wooden map trays at the rear will be appreciated. A cosy, warm interior that makes you want to settle in and take to the road in this luxury grand tourer.
Viewable by appointment.
MOT valid.
