History
The MGB (MG Type B) is a car from the MG (Morris Garages) marque manufactured from 1962 to 1980 and offered in four successive versions: MK1, MK2, MK3 and MK4. It is often regarded as the archetype of the British roadster.
Four successive MGB series were built:
The MGB Mk I, equipped with a 1. 8-litre engine with three-bearing crankshaft;
The MGB Mk II, equipped with an engine of similar displacement but with five bearings;
The MGB Mk III, close to the previous but with different finishes (grille, taillights);
The MGB Mk IV, equipped with rubber bumpers, single carburettor and raised suspension (to comply with US anti-crash standards from May 1974).
