This example received a partial underbody restoration in 2025 (photo dossier available / Total: €2, 520). On this occasion the floors and sills were replaced, the front wings and doors were removed for complete sanding, priming and painting in the original “Signal Red” colour. The paint is in excellent presentation condition, with a uniform shade and sheen. After a professional polish with the orbital machine by our workshop, a small paint defect was noted at the top of the right rear wing as well as a paint chip touched up on the boot lid. The chrome bumpers and their impact plates are perfectly aligned and in good condition, despite some light rubbing marks. The rear wheel arch covers in aluminum (Robri type) are in good condition. The grille, lenses and lights are also in good condition. The black faux leather hood/ binnacle is in good condition with no discoloration, wear or sagging. Its seal remains within era standards. The PVC mica appears slightly opaque, without cracks or fissures. This example is also fitted with a black faux leather tonneau cover in good condition. Its installation remains challengeable. This example is equipped with a desirable option on roadsters without side windows: plexiglass Side Screens. We noted a small crack in the plexiglass of the driver’s side screen. The four 15” grey wire wheels and their four chrome knock-offs are in good condition. The four Federal tyres show 50% wear. This example retains its original spare wheel and interior cover. Among the noteworthy exterior/ equipment features on this car are: new floors and tonneau cover. Interior: The black faux leather upholstery with white piping was restored a few years ago. It is in good condition with a slight patina and a small tear on the passenger seat. The door panels in black faux leather with white piping are in good condition. The dashboard and the black faux leather cap are also in very good condition. The JAEGER dashboard instruments and the LUCAS ammeter work perfectly. The original Bakelite three-spoke steering wheel and Triumph wood gear knob are in good condition. All carpets in black and the Triumph over-mats are in good condition. This car is fitted with a battery cut-off. Among the desirable interior options for this car are: black leatherette upholstery with white piping and the wooden Triumph gear knob.
